Cajun Seafood Linguine

I recently had dinner at the Melrose Grill and ordered the Cajun Seafood Linguine. The sauce is perfection and the dish is loaded with prawns, salmon and scallops. So if you want to try something besides any of the amazing steaks they offer....this is certainly a winner and won't disappoint!

Brochette & Prawns

I have been out here, in the Great Northwest, for over 30 years. I'm from Iowa, where the Tall Corn Grows (I've seen as high as 10 to 12 foot stalks!) And where all our agriculture is #1 if not slipping now and then to #2,...we were once known as the "little" state that FED THE WORLD! Our Beef along with our neighboring states, fed their cattle Corn to grow on, not to just "finish" the beef with corn 'flavor' to get a 'taste' of the Great Black Angus Beef we bred and slaughtered for East Coast and West Coadt Fine Dinning restaurants. Grass is ok, but Corn Fed is where the Heart of Good Beef Flavors Come from... I found fairly good sources of my "flavor" of beef being served in the Puget Sound for 15 years, but got tired of paying a ransom in GOLD for that taste! Then I found Melrose Grill 9 yrs ago and have found my "home!" and I have an affordable way to "quench" my thirst for my Iowa/Nebraska Beef taste! The cooks do themselves proud! I can say I have never had to send my beef back to correct my medium flavor order! FILET is my favorite, but it is sometimes traded for the Brochet and Prawns and that affordable entry "Surf & Turf" is outstanding, but sometimes the Filet or one other choice steak, gets a companion for dinner that night, and I will splurge for a large Lobster Tail! If Kevin Cosner where asked about Melrose Grill being a part of Heaven (Iowa!), I'd say he'd nod and say Iowa Beef!" It's Heaven for me in Washington State, in Renton! Melrose Grill is my answer to Beef as Pavlov's Dogs drool hearing "filet!" My side bake potatoes are always perfect and my guests usually rave to me over how everthing is cooked so well and tastes outstanding. I have leafy green problems, but my guest are always happy with their salads, I change and get the Balsalmic / Blue Cheese Tomato 'salad' and like that as My first course... what a great way to start! Don't for get to look at the board for specials or ask what their other special entries there are. Save room for dessert too! Oh the Back Bar is Over a Hundred years old! GOOD bartenders are there too! Get yourself a Templeton Rye (IOWA RYE WHISKEY, AL CAPONE'S "GOOD STUFF!) Sour or serve it Old Fashion style, and ENJOY your night! 25oz Bone-In Ribeye

Wow, the size this thing was enormous! The steak was seasoned perfectly, not too salty and you can taste the quality of the meat. It was thick cultured and grilled perfectly, so juicy! The cut was high quality and marbled. I been to all the high end steak establishments around Seattle and this was easily one of the best ribeyes I ever had!

16 oz Lobster Tail Dinner

Melrose Grill has the most absolutely mouth watering lobster tails. They are the best! We paired it with their rib eye steaks that were cooked to perfection! It took us a long time to finally check out the Melrose Grill, (a good friend had been recommending this place for years before we actually went there). Well, since that first visit three years ago, this is now our go to place for dinner for all special occasions, and whenever we're in the Seattle area. The food, the service, EVERYTHING is Great!

Cajun Seafood Linguine

I really enjoyed this entree. I don't normally eat spicy food. But this has a nice mild heat. I highly recommend it to anyone who would enjoy a seafood linguine!
